Adieu to Kristu Jayanti

With a heavy heart, I’m saying good bye to an institution that nurtured my teaching skills. This dreary moment will happen on Nov 7, 2007. Four and half years back, I entered into a small class of 16 students as a Lecturer. In that small class, I have done my teaching experiments, and learnt with them. The whole effort exposed me to a new profession. Moreover, it’s hard to estimate the speed with which we all grown in Kristu Jayanti College, how we organized both successful and futile events in the campus, how the surrounding evolved with us. Really, I’m missing the biotic and abiotic elements in the College and K. Narayanapura. Furthermore, missing the entire BA batch and associated faculties, who made me what I’m now. Hope! The almighty pardon this selfish motive.Smiling through tears and dreaming an eventful comeback.

It's not as big a thing to feel guilty about as u do now, sir. Certainly, there's this aspect of missing the place that u feel so special about and cherish. You've made just a good decision that's favorable to you, now. Even though u call it selfish, i call it just a "smart" move. To make your life a bit better. After all, some saint of old said "God is, man FULLY ALIVE", and u got to explore every lit'le detail of life to be fuller each day. That in turn will magnify God and HE'll be pleased with you.

Besides, we should not neglect, that your absence is going to give another wo/man an opportunity to grow and learn just like the way u did.

But....... we WON'T have another
GOPU SIR.

will miss you long time.

sir, you are the most successful person for me in all the ways and i would always love to be called as your student . Its a part of my ambition and hope that i can make you proud of me one day. Your leaving was so unexpested for me that i cannot muster the courage to come and talk to you anything about it may be because of all the unexpected turns my life has taken in the past few months . You have been a constant source of inspiration for me like how my dad was . sir you are a winner for me in all respects. A TRUE WINNER!!!!

sir, i joined this college accidently without any goals to accomplish and with a timid attitude. i was always scared of public and crowd. although i had many ideas to portray in my previous school, i was always scared to open my mouth.
Knowingly or unknowingly u encouraged me to speak openly to public, crack jokes in public, etc. today im a free person and not scared to speak my views.
u were more than a teacher, an inspiration. u will always be in our hearts.....

"if possible, keep in touch" :-)

Dear Sir,
You had been a great source of inspiration for every student of yours. Though we were a rebellious lot, and irked you out often, we really liked you. I can say that you were one of the very few lecturers who made conscious efforts to get us out of our lazy shells. Now that i'm out of college, i can feel how much more i could have leanrt from you had i not been abstinent. You have done a great deal for us, especially me (though u might not have realised). Thanks a lot for being a great teacher and an exceptionally good human being. :)

It was great to read you blog!!
